Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Ari Taube graduated from Boston University before beginning his career in the financial industry.

In 2007, Ari transitioned into finance, joining Smith Barney as a licensed stockbroker after obtaining his Series 7 license. He later became a Senior Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch in 2008, where he worked closely with high-net-worth private clients, focusing on investment strategy, portfolio management, and long-term wealth preservation.

Following his experience in traditional finance, Ari shifted toward entrepreneurship and company development.

In 2010, he founded his first company in the consumer packaged goods industry, manufacturing snack food products before successfully exiting the business in 2015.

He later founded a topical pharmaceutical company specializing in pain management products manufactured under FDA licenses. The company eventually became publicly traded on the Canadian Securities Exchange before being acquired by a larger pharmaceutical organization.

In 2018, Ari launched another consumer health company focused on homeopathic pain-relieving edible products, which he operated until 2023 and subsequently sold.

Prior to founding Isla Capital in 2025, Ari was involved in eCommerce consulting and digital business development.
